DAY 1 : ARRIVE IMPHAL BY AIR / ROAD Meet and assist by Traveloearth Staff. Transfer to Hotel Nirmala or similar. Afternoon visit local market. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 : IMPHAL Today after breakfast we will first visit Shree Govindajee temple, a historic Vaishnavite center. The shrines of Krishna and Balaram and Jagannath flank the two sides of the prestigious deity. Manipuries are mostly Vaishnavites and this temple is the main place of worship. DAY 3 : IMPHAL-LOKTAK LAKE-IMPHAL After breakfast drive to Loktak Lake, a National Park. Look for the 'Sangai' or Dancing deer found here. Return to Imphal and to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 : IMPHAL-AIRPORT TRANSFER After breakfast at the hotel we proceed to the airport to board outgoing flight to Calcutta or Delhi.
