Lady Hydari Park

The park was established in the 1930s or 1940s and was named after Lady Hydari, the wife of the first Governor of Assam, Sir Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari. The park was recently officially renamed Ka Phan Nonglait Park to honor Phan Nonglait, a revered freedom fighter from the British colonial era.
