Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery

Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery, also known as Bomdila Monastery or Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling Monastery, is a significant center of Mahayana Buddhism located in the hill town of Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh, India.

Situated on a hilltop in Bomdila, the monastery offers panoramic views of the surrounding Kameng valley and snow-capped Himalayan peaks like Kangto and Gorichen.

The monastery is built in the traditional Tibetan style and houses a magnificent golden statue of Lord Buddha. The prayer halls are adorned with vibrant murals and art depicting Buddhist teachings and deities.
