DAY 1: UMIAM
Start your Meghalaya Holiday with a drive to Umiam and relax in the picturesque reality of its surroundings. A tour of the lake at Umiam and the Park will cap off a fun and refreshing trip to the Abode of the Clouds.
DAY 2: SOHRA (CHERRAPUNJEE)
A Tour of Sohra, the place with the heaviest rainfall in the world and its surrounding areas with old and historical places of interest.
DAY 3: WALK WITH TRAVELOEARTH WALK TOURS
The places that we will cover include Police Bazar, Ward’s Lake, State Museum, All Saints Cathedral, Lady Hydari Park, Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Apphira Archery, Polo Grounds, Shillong Golf Course, Don Bosco Museum, Iewduh.
DAY 4: JAINTIA HILLS
The next day will take you to an area inhabited by the Pnar tribe. Their way of life and their places of interest bear unique differences to that of the Khasis. Here you would visit the Narting Monoliths and the various well known areas that the Jaintia Hills has to offer.
