North East India Pilgrimage Tour

The lohit river rises in eastern Tibet, in the Zayal Chu range and surges through Aruncachal Pradesh for two hundred kilometers,before disgorging itself in the plains of Assam. Tempestuous and turbulent, and known as the river of blood, only partly attributable to the lateritic soil, it flows through the Mishmi Hills, to meet the Siang at the head of the Brahmaputra valley.

The tour is designed to give you a glimpse of the colorful Buddhist society in the hidden Himalayan backdrop. It includes visits to Monpa tribal villages, Kalchakra Monastery, Li-ung Gonpa, Sela Pass and Tawang Monastery in addition to Tipi Orchid Centre - a glass house with over 7,500 Orchids.
