Itineraries

Day 1 : (255 Kms / 5 Hrs Drive)

ARRIVAL GUWAHATI - KAZIRANGA

Welcome to Guwahati. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the Airport /railway station & proceed to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel/Lodge/resort, Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 2:

KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Early morning explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon you can experience a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 3 : (90 Kms / 1.5 Hrs Ferry Boat Ride)

KAZIRANGA - MAJULI

Today after having morning breakfast, transfer to Nimati Ghat for Ferry Boat Ride to Majuli - is the biggest river island in the world in the Brahmaputra River to explore Assamese Vaishnova Culture through exploring various Satras like Kamalabari Satra, Dokhinapat Satra along with Natural Beauty of Majuli. Overnight in Majuli

Day 4 : (90 Kms / 1.5 Hrs Ferry Boat Ride)

MAJULI - KAZIRANGA

Today after having morning breakfast, visit the natural beauty of India's Largest River Island - Majuli along with Assamese Culture through various "Satras". Evening return back to Kaziranga for night stay.

Day 5 : (130 km/ 3 Hrs Drive)

KAZIRANGA - NAMERI

After morning breakfast, drive to Nameri National Park. On arrival check in at Eco-Camp / Lodge / Resort. All are located on the banks of Kameng river on the Assam side in the middle of a countryside, surrounded by tropical jungle. We start the day with tracking inside the Nameri National Park which is the home of the near extinct white Winged Wood-duck. Besides, the park abounds in elephants, leopards, sambar, barking deer, wild boar, gaur, Indian wild dogs and a variety of birds including four species of hornbill. After having lunch we gear-up for river rafting (as per the availability & direct payment basis) over Jia Bharali River. Overnight will be at Nameri.

Day 6 : (180 KM. / 06 hrs approx)

NAMERI - DIRANG

Start early in the morning for Dirang, just after breakfast. On the way visit Tippi On the banks of the river Bharali at an elevation of 190 meters is Tipi, an orchidarium with over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species with names like the Dainty Lady's Slipper or the more formal sounding Dendrobium. Arunachal has the largest range of orchids in the country. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 7 : (155 km / 6 hours Drive)

DIRANG – TAWANG

Early in the morning, leave for Tawang. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – the Sela Pass which runs through a small ridge and along a placid Lake called the Paradise Lake. On the way cross the National Yak Research and Breeding Centre, Natural Hot Water Spring and Jaswantgarh. Jaswantgarh is a memorial to the brave soldier who single handedly tried to hold of the approaching Chines from the pass during the 1962 Indo – Chinese war. The stupa like Tawang war Memorial also salutes the heroes of the war. On arrival at Tawang, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.

Day 8

TAWANG

Morning visit the Ani Goompha, the Urgelling Monastery (6th Dalai Lama temple), the Handicrafts Centre and finally the three hundred year old Tawang Monastery, the second largest Buddhist Monastery after Lhasa’s Potala. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.

Day 9

TAWANG

In the morning go for sightseeing in and around Tawang. Morning visit to “BomlaLah Pass” & Visit the PengaTen Tso Lake (PTSO), Sangster Lake (popularly known as Madhuri Lake) & War Memorial. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.

Note: Bumlah pass is depends on Weather Condition and Availability of Permit, if Weather Condition is OK, we will assist you in managing the permit for that. Bumlah Pass, PTSO Lake and Madhuri Lake sightseeing have to be done throughArunachal Pradesh Local union Vehicle, our Assam registered vehicle is not allowed to move there, hence you have to bear this ArunachalPradesh Local Union Vehicle cost for these 3 Sightseeing Points. We will assist you in managing this extra vehicle.

Day 10 : (180 km / 6 hours Drive)

TAWANG – BOMDILA

After Breakfast transfer to Bomdila. Check in the hotel on arrival. After lunch visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 11 : (340 km / 7½ - 8 hours Drive)

BOMDILA – GUWAHATI

After Breakfast transfer to Guwahati. Check in to your hotel. Evening you may visit 'Kalakshetra', a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show or take an evening cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra (It optional instant pay basis).Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Guwahati.

Day 12

GUWAHATI - DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from hotel visit "Mata Kamakhya" Temple with everlasting memories transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station for onward journey.
